Welcome to Fulmodeston and Barney Parish Council

ANNUAL PARISH COUNCIL MEETING

 

The Annual Parish Council Meeting for Barney, Croxton and Fulmodeston will take place in July - date to be confirmed -  from 7pm at the Old School Hall, Fulmodeston​​

​

Rob Harris has been elected as Chair of the Council for 2026 - 27 and Clive Lickley as the Vice-Chair.

 

There remains one vacancy on the Council which can be filled by co-option. If you would like to join the Council, please contact the locum clerk or any of the Councillors.

The Annual Parish Meeting is an opportunity for all residents and electors in Barney, Croxton and Fulmodeston to discuss any matters relating to the local community.

 

All local organisations are invited to send a representative along to the meeting to give an update for the previous year and plans for the year to come.

Public Meeting

Welcome to Fulmodeston and Barney

Fulmodeston with Barney Parish Council serves the three villages of Fulmodeston, Barney and Croxton within the auspices of

North Norfolk District Council. ​​The Parish Council is made up of members who all live in the villages and represent the villages on various matters.  We are effectively the first tier of local government, the other two being Norfolk County Council and North Norfolk District Council.

Next Meeting of the Parish Council

The next full meeting will be held on in July 2026 (date to be confirmed) at 7pm in the Old School Hall. 

Members of the public are welcome to attend all Parish Council meetings and there is always an item for Public Participation.​

We currently have one vacancy for a parish councillor.

​

Are you interested in the life of our community, the local environment, transport, planning, housing and other local issues? 

These are just a few of the areas which the Parish Council can get involved with to help make a difference. 

Can you spare some time to join us and help shape our villages, for residents and future generations?

The Parish Council would like to co-opt their new Councillor at the next Parish Council meeting.
